Description

Domson Engineering & Inspection is certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau to provide on-site visual and nondestructive testing ( NDT ) services backed up with engineering capability. We have offices in Brampton, Sudbury, Sarnia, and Niagara Falls.

Our visual inspection personnel are experienced with structural steel inspection such as buildings and bridges, as well as inspection of piping, boilers, pressure vessels, storage tanks, and other structures.

Our nondestructive testing services include magnetic particle(magnaflux), liquid penetrant, ultrasonic, and hardness testing. Our technicians are experienced with - mobile lifting equipment such as cranes, aerials and fire department ladder trucks - thickness testing and corrosion mapping - new fabrication of various metals - rigging equipment and wire rope inspection - mining hoists and heavy equipment

Our quality assurance department has provided on-site quality services for the White Rose project, boiler shutdowns and rebuilds, bridge fabrication and erection, pipeline construction projects, transit bus shell manufacturing, among other projects within Canada and around the world. We can provide vendor quality control / quality assurance services or source inspection services for your next project.

Our engineering department specializes in the lift industry and has designed numerous custom lifting devices such as lifting beams, manbaskets, forklift attachments, coil handlers, gantry cranes, etc. We have also designed major lifts using mobile cranes within refineries, nuclear power stations, chemical plants, etc.
We also provide welding engineering services, accident investigation, and failure analysis
