Description

WELCOME "Energetic" is most popular in describing the band The Dole Tinkers. The "Tinkers" call it Celtic-Grunge while others believe it is simply Celtic-Rock at its best. Traditional Celtic songs are played at a faster and more furious pace; they are mixed with the slower heartfelt ballads of the Celtic culture. A number of the Eastern Canadian folk favorites like Drunkin Sailor are also included in their performances. Their popularity is not much of a surprise considering that their well known appearances at a small pub in Guelph, Ontario, Canada was a growing show for over ten years. As two of the original members of the popular Sunday jam, Michael Foley and Fyl Bennett have perfected their musical relationship. Chris fit perfectly into the energy and uniqueness of the band when he joined the 'Tinkers' in 2001. The first CD...Us, Through the Eyes of the World contains an array of Celtic original, folk and traditional arrangements. The latest CD, Xposed, was well anticipated by loyal fans and was released in 2003. The band strives to keep their performances lively and fun, and they hope that their fans continue enjoying the music and beer. Slainte
