The Church year begins with the first Sunday of Advent - a preparatory time for Christmas . . . As we wait in Joyful Hope for the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, we recall His Incarnation in time, many years ago in Bethlehem and look forward to His second coming at the end of the ages. Advent is a season of joyful expectation.
