DINEEN Construction Corporation is capable of providing a wide range of Design Build services in addition to construction. This includes in-house and outsourced drawings, locating sites, site plan approvals, permit applications, storm water management, mechanical and electrical process, design and construction. The guiding principle of our firm is to be aggressive in applying new designs, but to proceed from base-line proven experience.
With over 80 years of experience, DINEEN Construction Corporation has emerged as a leader among construction companies. In 2004, DINEEN Construction Corporation was awarded a design build award for the design and construction of the Economic and Development offices and parking garage for the City of Burlington. The design portion of this project demonstrated DINEEN’s knowledge and ability to work hand in hand with all of the departments within the City of Burlington to control the end product, while working with a predefined budget and schedule.
Dineen Construction Corporation is dedicated to giving back to its community. Each year, we organize company-wide fundraising events that engage our peers and colleagues and help fund charitable initiatives.
These projects were preformed within fully operational bus garage facilities or in the case of Go Willowbrook and the TTC Wilson projects, for train facilities. All of the garages were equipped with bus storage, maintenance and facilities for the operations personnel. DINEEN’s site personnel have extensive experience in dealing with the daily logistics of bus schedules, personnel schedules and the intense safety required when performing construction operations around and near rolling stock.
The Toronto Construction Association, or the General Builders’ Society as it was called then, was founded in February 1867 by a group of 58 Canadian construction industry executives. The association’s mandate in those early days was to promote the highest possible standards of professionalism in an industry characterized by stiff competition and often razor thin margins.
