Diamond Parking’s staying power is an inspiration to many companies aspiring to stand the test of time. Today Diamond Parking Services is the oldest family-owned company in the parking industry. Throughout its 90 years, Diamond Parking has operated with the same philosophy of profifi table, steady growth without compromising the quality of service. This approach has paid off as the company has grown into a multinational corporation with expanding operations in eight states and Canada. In addition to his years of experience in hospitality, Michael attended culinary school where he was trained as a classical French chef. He says his experience in culinary environments has given him the right recipe for success in the parking industry. “I always look for ways to create unique, memorable and personal experiences for our clients and customers. When I was cooking professionally, I was fortunate to have the freedom to innovate and improve.

Diamond Parking is the oldest parking company worldwide. Headquartered in Seattle, Washington, Josef Diamond established Diamond in 1922. Today, Diamond Parking is a multi-national corporation managing and operating parking facilities in both Western Canada and Western United States covering more than 1,500 diverse locations. From our first employee in 1922 to the attendant who cheerfully greets our parking customer every morning, our people know the value of outstanding customer service. We understand that our interactions will reflect directly upon the experience and impression left with our tenants, guests and parking visitors.

“Agents and Service Providers: To ensure quality service to our customers, Diamond Parking engages other companies, subsidiaries and individuals to perform certain functions and/or services. Examples of these functions and/or services include processing credit card payments, providing marketing assistance, removing repetitive information from customer lists and offering electronic mail services and making available digital certificates.

Recently, Scotiabank of Canada, held a branch fundraiser to support Children’s Hospital. Upon hearing of the event, Diamond Parking immediately stepped up making a financial contribution. Diamond also ensured that the facility they manage on the bank’s behalf was secured to hold the function. “We did our small part to support our client in this most worthwhile cause,” notes Mike Poirer, Regional Vice President of Operations in Vancouver B.C. Mike said that the bank offered to put Diamond’s logo on all event advertising for their support. “We suggested the resources would be more appropriately donated to Children’s Hospital.” The fundraiser exceeded expectations and serves as an excellent example of how Diamond works cooperatively to support community initiatives.
