Dehcho Land Use Planning Committee

The Dehcho Land Use Planning Committee develops a legally binding land use plan for the Dehcho Territory, covering 185,000 square kilometers excluding Nahanni National Park Reserve, Hay River Reserve, and community boundaries. Established in 2001 under the Dehcho First Nations Interim Measures Agreement, the committee includes representatives from Dehcho First Nations, Canada, and the Northwest Territories, guiding land use decisions and engaging with stakeholders.
