Harbour Air was founded in British Columbia in 1982. With growing success the company quickly expanded, adding scheduled flights between Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, the Sunshine Coast and Whistler. Today, with over 31 years in business and more than 50 aircraft, the Harbour Air Group consisting of Harbour Air Seaplanes, Westcoast Air and Whistler Air have become the largest all-seaplane company in the world.

The Royal BC Museum is one of the foremost cultural institutions in British Columbia. The museum was founded in 1886; the archives in 1894. In 2003 these two organizations integrated to become British Columbia’s combined provincial museum and archives, collecting artifacts, documents and specimens of BC’s natural and human history, safeguarding them for the future, and sharing them with the world.
