D. REPOL Enterprises Incorporated started as a small, 500 sq. ft. store under the name D & G WINE AND MALT SHOP in 1983. The original store located in Ajax, Ontario sold wine and beer making products to the home wine maker and brewer. At the same time, we also started selling wine labels that we designed, as the selection was very limited and they were difficult to obtain. In 1985 we opened our second retail store in Markham, Ontario and became incorporated. Our third store opened in 1987 in Whitby, Ontario followed by a store in Pickering two years later. All of this time our wholesale business was growing as we added new products to our retail stores and our wholesale business. In 1989 we opened our Bowmanville, Ontario retail store. In 1993 we opened our own printing shop, REPOL PRINTING INC., to meet the growing demand for quality labels that our previous supplier could not handle. Currently we employ four full time employees in the printing division and can do almost any type of printing. All artwork, film, plates, printing, die cutting etc. is done on our premises. In 1996 we moved our head office, wholesale operation, Whitby retail store, print shop and our new Brew-On wine-making facility, GLASS ACT WINE MAKING, into our new, 11,000 sq. ft. location to 1001 Burns Street East in Whitby, Ontario. We are a well-established company able to supply all retail, wholesale and Brew-Ons with stock as well as with printing for supplies and advertising.
