Established in 1989 as the outgrowth of a twenty-five year-old nationally recognized architectural firm, David S. McRobie
Architects Inc. (DSMA) is an Ottawa-based architectural practice offering services in four allied areas:

- Building Design
- Interior Design
- Urban Design
- Technology Integration.

We work with private corporations, real estate developers, financial institutions and governments at all levels on a wide range of commercial office, retail, leisure and transportation projects.

DSMA is an Ontario-registered corporation (no. 664996), licensed to practise architecture through Certificate of Practice No. 1778 issued by the Ontario Association of Architects. We are also licensed to practise in Québec.

The firm comprises sixteen individuals, of whom eight are licensed or graduate Architects, four are Interior Designers and three are architectural technologists. DSMA's operations are directed by its President, David McRobie, and two Vice
Presidents, William Crompton and James Salem.

Our firm is unique to the degree we have successfully integrated our services to meet our clients' design requirements. From inside to outside, we see buildings as a coordinated whole, a philosophy of service which promotes the creation of technologically and functionally superior space.

DSMA provides clients with access to a national network of professionals in the design and construction fields. We frequently participate in multi-disciplinary design teams where a combination of expertise achieves project objectives within a coordinated and mutually supportive framework.
