Thanks to our employees, Custom Aluminum Foundry (CAF) celebrated 50 years of outstanding service to our customers in 2005. We have a long history of providing high quality aluminum and zinc aluminum castings to a wide variety of industries. CAF was founded in April 1955 by George Butler, an experienced foundryman, as a one-man, 600 square foot shop located in Galt, Ontario. Since then, the company has expanded its capacity for increased and improved products and service. CAF is now operated by George's son, Joe Butler, and Joe's daughter, Amanda MacNamara. In 2002, CAF moved to a brand new, state-of-the-art facility. The 33,000 square foot facility is located on Dobbie Drive in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, where it employs a staff of 50. At CAF, we believe our employees are our greatest assets. We are committed to providing them with ongoing training as well as the best tools available to assist them in utilizing their unique skills. Our staff's commitment and pride of workmanship, is displayed in the quality of the delivered product. . With their many years of combined experience, our highly trained molders are able to meet complex casting requirements.
