Our goal has always been to produce the best most energy efficient roof system available. From the beginning, because of our background as an insulation contractor, we have been concerned about the total payback of the roof. The longer the roof performs and the more energy it saves each year, the less expensive it becomes. Most roofers are just trying to keep the water out. This is admirable, but only a small part of the equation. From the beginning when we installed metal over foam insulation (Duralock) or coated foam on metal buildings such as many of the arenas in Northern Ontario, our goal was the payback we could achieve. We have the solution. Our roofs in many cases return their cost of installation by the energy they save, actually costing the customer little or nothing.
