Courtney Agencies Ltd. was founded in 1955 by Richard S. Courtney , to provide ship’s agency and customs brokerage services in the city of New Westminster BC, which at the time was the main ocean port on the west coast of Canada.

With more than 50 years’ experience in the ship’s agency business in the Greater Vancouver area, we have grown along with the port of Vancouver. Today it covers more than 200km of coastline, and has the biggest container throughput of any port in Canada. It takes in-depth knowledge of shipping operations and of the cargo reporting process to move your goods successfully into and out of the port. From our unique perspective, we can provide that for you.
