CoreSim is a private company with 30+ employees based in Ottawa, Canada. The company provides design analysis services to internal design teams within Original Equipment Manufacturers, Engineering Manufacturing Suppliers and Silicon Vendors. These services draw on unique model based tools such as Schematic Modeling and Board Static Timing analysis, combined seamlessly with commercial analysis tools for services such as Signal Integrity analysis. CoreSim is unique in strengthening an internal design teams ability to reduce the number of respins on complex board and silicon developments. Some major Telecom and Defense companies build CoreSim deliverables right into their own internal design processes. CoreSim uses the above analysis technology combined with other modeling techniques such as real time capture of stimulus from an actual system, hardware modeling using the actual chip as the model and co-verification of firmware using real microprocessor silicon. This enables the original board function and parametrics to be modeled and constraints generated for any silicon consolidation. It also allows the new board to be well margined and the firmware boot code and driver performance to be matched to the original board performance. CoreSim's services are offered on an "a la carte" or full turnkey basis.
