Over the course of our history LCE has had the opportunity to tackle many varied types of projects, sometimes well outside of our core focus of work, but always managing to deliver top quality results for our clients. Whether constructing a 1.8km Monorail test track for Bombardier Transportation Canada, large scale landfill remediation projects for Lafarge Cement, completing the largest ever Park rejuvenating project for the City of Kingston, or building front to building front infrastructure replacement and streetscape construction in the down town core of Kingston, LCE has a proven track record of delivering on the difficult projects.

Len Corcoran Excavating (LCE) was founded in 1962 by Len Corcoran when he purchased a Case bulldozer -used of course- that he ran onsite all day and fixed at home in his garage every night. Len quickly developed a reputation as an honest, hardworking and very skilled machine operator. As the demand for his skills grew he gradually hired a few staff. The rest, as they say, is history.
