Copernicus Lodge is a community effort which originated through the work of Canadians of Polish origin to provide for the changing needs of its aging community. This will be achieved by fostering a caring Christian environment and Polish atmosphere that has been an integral part of their lives. To accomplish this, all employees will contribute their respective expertise; work with a compassionate spirit, co-operation and team effort to provide excellence of care. Copernicus Lodge shall perform such acts as are required to attain the following objectives: - To give comfort and care to the elderly to enable them to live a happy, dignified and contented life, while at the same time preserving their individual self-reliance and self-determination; - To assist the elderly by providing quality of care based on modern concepts and procedures in accordance with the Residents' Bill of Rights; - To create and assist the maintenance of community based programs, utilizing other health care...
