Contour Surveys is a locally owned and operated survey company operating at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Calgary, Alberta with experience in underground and full subdivision construction, highways and roads, civil and oilfield projects of many sizes. We have been entrusted to work on some of the largest and most complex projects being built in Alberta. To keep ahead of the competition, Contour Surveys goes out of its way to keep up to date with the newest equipment, and vehicles to ensure there is never down time due to equipment or transportation failure, and value is maximized. None of the old calculators or theodolites you saw your grandfather using will be found here. Sub-centimeter RTK GPS, robotic total stations, servo and standard total stations with names like Leica, Trimble and TDS are standard equipment with our crews as well as an age limit on vehicles. Safety is also something we value, and our flawless WCB record shows it. All crews follow Contour Surveys safety standards and are trained for applicable requirements. For example, our pipeline workers have valid: - H2S Alive - First Aid - WHIMIS - TDG (drivers) - ATV training And any other site-specific requirements (Nomex..etc). Each crew is trained to follow Contour Surveys standards so all work is consistent, and to the level the client expects.
