In 1991 one of the shareholders of Constud purchased 75% of the shares of AGM Industries Inc, and AGM International Inc [AGM] located in Canton MA. The remaining 25% was purchased by DEHA. Today AGM is located in Brockton MA. AGM started operations in 1961. AGM manufactures a complete line of studweldable and non-studweldable insulation industry related fasteners. AGM also manufactures capacitor discharge Studwelding equipment.

The employees of Continental Studwelding Ltd. are firmly committed to a system of material and process controls which assures the quality of our products to our customers. The long-term success of Constud depends heavily on the high quality of our products measured by functional efficiency, integrity to specifications and freedom from defects. Inspection begins with the receipt of raw material, continues through production and is completed prior to shipping.

The second partnership was with HBS Bolzenschweiss Systeme GMBH of Dachau. HBS designed and manufactured a complete line of leading edge technology studwelding equipment.

Our studwelding systems employ the latest technology in Capacitor Discharge and Arc studwelding. Our product line consists of a wide range of single mode or multimode welding systems and related accessories from small portable models to complete in-line computer numerical production systems. Continental representatives will assist you in analyzing your requirements and selecting the system best suited to your needs. We will also assist you in installing and maintaining your system. Customer service is just as important to us as quality.

Continental Studwelding Ltd . (Constud) dates back to 1946. Three entrepreneurs Frank Keleman, Basil Spalding, and Charles Mikulka founded KSM Products Inc. in New Jersey to manufacture studweldable fasteners and studwelding equipment. A wholly owned subsidiary KSM Canada Ltd. was formed in 1958 to provide a stocking facility to cater to the Canadian ?studwelding? market.
