I've worked within the Canadian health care system for over 25 years, engaging with it from different angles. I helped pioneer health system breakthroughs, led a company to achieve growth of 20 times its original size and made mistakes along the way. [Read more about Shirlee].

Saint Elizabeth began operations as the St. Elizabeth Visiting Nurses Association, which was founded in 1908 with an original staff of four nurses.

With over a century of working with individuals, families and caregivers, Saint Elizabeth is a non-profit leader in home and community care, delivering over 5 million health care visits annually.

Saint Elizabeth will ensure that our health care service providers, third-party suppliers and staff members who deal directly with the public and/or participate in the development of our policies and procedures, receive training about providing goods and services to people with disabilities. This training will include current policies, practices and procedures outlined in this Accessibility Commitment and Customer Service Standard.

We are proud to announce that Saint Elizabeth is open in Nova Scotia. Starting in March, we are bringing over 100 years of experience in community care to the citizens of Halifax.
