Our capabilities include the ability to re-engineer an existing component. Produce the required tooling, cast, and machine, to produce a replacement component of equal or superior quality to the original. Replacement (no longer available) Heat Exchanger Heads. We have about 30 of these units installed and the parts are no longer available! Our customer was facing this problem. They were considering a change out of all of the old units. The old heat exchangers had given them years of good service. The change required new piping, mounting, and in some cases re- location of the exchangers. We used one of their old heat exchanger heads, and produced the required tooling, to yield new replacement parts. Cost effective, reliable, long-term solutions. Replacement (no longer available) Bearing Housings, and Caps. We have an excellent piece of equipment worth thousands of dollars. Our bearing housings have worn, broken, and are no longer reparable. We do not want to buy a new machine, and the parts are no longer available! The only alternative was to re-engineer, pattern, cast, and machine new replacement parts. We can be the solution to your problems too! Replacement Propeller for an Axial flow pump. The customer had annually weld repaired the propeller in an effort to get just one more year of service. This pump had been in service for many years, and was no longer available from the manufacturer. Replacing the pump would have required extensive modifications to the base and piping. Our solution was to produce a new, replacement propeller from the old one. This required substantial engineering prowess as the existing vanes had been distorted and covered in years of weld overlay. This pump is still in service and working well. We have since also repaired, and modified their casing as well. All of this work has been completed at a fraction of the replacement cost. In this case a customer had only one pump. The propeller nose had become so brittle due to chemical attack that it broke upon removal. Our solution was to have a one time Styrofoam pattern produced. This was done at a fraction of the cost of a conventional pattern. We then had the casting poured from the pattern, and machined. This allowed a critical piece of process equipment to be returned to service at a reasonable cost.
