MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER Coach Cathy is an upbeat, motivational speaker with an incredible energy and knowledge of a wide variety of fascinating topics that will keep any group engaged. She brings the energy level of a crowd to unexpected heights, makes them laugh and leaves them feeling optimistic and goal oriented. LIFE COACH Through her experiences in training, facilitating and speaking, Cathy found that she had a unique knack for reading people and helping them to discover and nurture their hidden potential. This led her to study "Life Coaching". Being mentored by Sonia Choquette and others, Cathy discovered new methods to enable her to assist individuals in discovering their passions, setting and meeting goals and finding more direction and happiness in their lives. CUSTOMIZED CORPORATE AND PUBLIC TRAINING Cathy Byrnes has been facilitating highly energetic and motivational workshops since 2004. She is the sole proprietor of CoachCathy.ca, and as a Training Consultant and Life Coach develops her own programs individually tailored for each and every client. She delivers her own workshops as well as contracting out her facilitation skills for other training companies. The foundation of all of Cathy's workshops is her knowledge of Brain Compatible Learning and Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) . Quite simply stated, this means that Cathy has studied, under the world leading experts, how learning happens inside your brain and how we can use that knowledge to our advantage in the classroom, training session, boardroom and within a team. Through studying under Eric Jensen (brain-compatible learning), Dr. Rich Allen (facilitating with the brain in mind), Tony Buzan (Mind-Mapping) and others, Cathy has learned techniques to identify your learning styles, maximize learning, access untapped creative genius within you and greatly increase retention. NLP teaches us how to communicate and negotiate more effectively with others and read the hidden messages, including when someone is being honest with you and when they're hiding something. Cathy's energetic personality, thirst for knowledge, positive outlook and open-minded approach make her workshops informative and fun!
