Through CMEPP, our Participant hospitals enjoy a variety of equipment management services. On behalf of our Participants, CMEPP issues purchase orders to service providers and negotiates services. In conjunction with our program we provide direct vendor payments, further reducing the administrative expense to the hospital.
The Canadian Medical Equipment Protection Plan is Canada’s lowest cost medical equipment maintenance management service. We provide our Participating Hospitals with a comprehensive range of maintenance management services , including management programs, contract negotiation services and CMEPP’s claims management expertise.
"Since Joining CMEPP in 2004 our Regional Health Authority has achieved a significant annual cost savings as compared to OEM service agreements without jeopardizing medical equipment up-time on high-end diagnostic medical equipment.
