Our mission is to provide an enjoyable, safe and natural network of riding trails to the equestrian community in our area. We promote good horsemanship and friendship, and we encourage equestrian sports. We are a non-profit organization and rely on our membership to help us reach these goals. All members of the Club Equestre are issued an identification tag (updated annually) which easily attaches to a saddle, breastplate, or a jacket. Our members should have this ID tag with them at all times while they are out on the trails as proof of their membership. The Club questre Les Forestiers has set up the preservation of the trail network as its most important mandate. With the support of the municipalities and many owners of private land, it succeeds in offering a top-quality network for riders of the area in spite of the reduction of open green space. Negotiations are constantly ongoing to preserve and acquire our right of way in the region. Members of Club Equestre Les Forestiers are blessed with a natural woodland area of approximately 300 square miles combined with some of the most spectacular views and unbelievable footing for riding all year round. Our extensive riding trails include parts of the communities of St. Lazare, Hudson, Ste. Marthe, St. Clet and Les Cedres and Rigaud.
