At Clark Engineering we provide a wide array of engineering and design services to meet the needs of your next project.

The buildings will mostly be utilising variable air volume type air systems with perimeter heat to offset the building's heat losses. The perimeter heat will be in the form of ceiling radiant panels and in floor heat. To provide heat to these, and to reheat ventilation air, three packaged, staging, condensing boilers will be provided. These fully modulating boilers will fire in sequence to provide the exact heat requirement for the building. Heat recovery ventilation will be used to provide a constant supply of fresh air to the building.

Clark Engineering was retained to recommend strategies for the life cycle replacement of mechanical systems at the County of St. Paul's Maintenance facility. Maintenance garages can have high ventilation requirements and in the dead of winter this is very energy expensive. Clark Engineering's solution was to provide a dual core heat recovery unit to provide the base ventilation requirement during occupied hours. These units have a temperature efficiency of over 90%.

Kitchen ventilation design is not an easy task. At Clark Engineering we have vast experience with these types of projects meaning we are able to provide pleasant working environments despite the large quantities of ventilation required for kitchen spaces.

Clark Engineering was established in 1999 with an aim to provide high quality, cost effective, energy efficient, sustainable mechanical designs. Initial projects included energy upgrade and building renewal projects. Energy assessments for a national real estate income trust led to our involvement as Prime Consultant for mechanical, electrical, and building envelope upgrades in 14 hotels. Many of these projects included either partial or complete upgrades to heating and cooling systems, domestic water heating systems, heat reclaim ventilation systems, and BMCS upgrades.
