Description

Development Permitting is responsible for administering the City of Grande Prairie's Land Use Bylaw. The co-ordination and review of all development applications and proposals to ensure compliance with the Land Use Bylaw achieves this. Through the permitting process we liase with developers, other City departments, outside agencies and the general public on development applications. Our goal is to foster a positive public attitude towards planning and development, and to safeguard public confidence in regard to the City's approach to growth management.
