Chrysalix Energy Limited Partnership The first Chrysalix investment partnership – Chrysalix Energy Limited Partnership started in July 2001 with a specific focus on fuel cells and the hydrogen economy. It is funded by six strategic Limited Partners (“LPs”):All of these LPs are “strategic” in the sense that they operate in various segments of the new energy industry. They are complementary and bring access to a wide variety of distinct knowledge bases, technologies, markets, and geographies. This enables them to work collaboratively while providing advice and knowledge to Chrysalix in a manner that enhances both its access to investment opportunities as well as the screening and management of investments. Chrysalix Energy II U.S. Limited Partnership A significant first close has now been completed, with a world class group of Limited Partners. Lead investors are the Private Equity Group of WestAM, an affiliate of the German bank, WestLB, and the triple A-rated RaboBank through its affiliate Robeco, one of Europe’s leading investment specialists. Others joining in this first close are Teachers' Private Capital, the private equity arm of the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, Mitsubishi Corporation, BASF Venture Capital GmbH, Shell Hydrogen, Delta Lloyd and several smaller investors.
