The Yakoun River is one of the most remote winter steelhead fisheries in British Columbia. Located on in Haida Gwaii, aka. the Queen Charlotte Islands, this is a last frontier of steelhead fishing. Accessed by an extremely limited amount of anglers every winter, the Yakoun holds big steelhead, and is recognized as one of the finest winter steelhead fishing locations anywhere in BC.

You better believe it. This is one of the most unique steelhead trips anywhere in the world, a west coast winter steelhead experience like no other. This is not a trip we recommend for beginner steelhead anglers but if you have some experience and are looking for something new this is a superb package.

Perched on the cliffs of Langara Island, this lodge is the premier salmon fishing lodge in British Columbia. The lodge itself is made up of three full-service facilities. Availability is limited at Langara Island Lodge, due to an extremely high return rate, so we suggest you book your trip as early as possible to secure the facility you’d like during the dates you want.
