Today we leave Lublin towards Rzeszow . Enroute we will stop will be at the town of Zamosc which was founded in the 16th century. Often referred to as a “Pearl of the Renaissance”, the Old City of Zamosc was placed on the UNESCO Heritage list in 1992. We have some free time to explore the Market Square before we continue on our way to Rzeszow. After checking in to our hotel we will have a short walking tour after which the rest of the evening is at your leisure. Overnight in Rzeszow at the Bristol Hotel.

After breakfast we leave Warsaw and drive east towards Krzesk. Here tucked away on 17 acres of farmland is the the small historic Krzesk distillery which produces the premium Chopin Vodka. We will have a tour of the distillery with an introduction to how the Vodka is produced. Each bottle of Chopin Vodka contains only three ingredients: the highest quality, naturally grown potato, rye or wheat , yeast, and purified artesian well water. No additives. After our lunch and vodka tasting we continue our drive to Lublin. After checking in to our hotel the rest of the day is at your leisure.

Our first stop on our eastern journey will be in the town of Zamosc, a UNESCO World Heritage site that is regarded as the "Pearl of the Renaissance" which was established in 1580 by Hetman Jan Zamoyski who desired to create an "ideal town" based on classic principles. We will have a short orientation of the Old Town Square and time for lunch on your own. We then visit the quaint border town of Przemysl picturesquely situated in the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains and one of the oldest and most beautiful of Polish towns.

With its population of almost two million, Warsaw has been capital of Poland for over four hundred years. It is located in the center of the country in the Mazovian Lowland on the banks of Poland's largest river-the Vistula. It is the administrative, economic, scientific, cultural, and tourist center of the country. A city total devastated during World War II, it was rebuilt through the efforts of its people. The Old Town-founded in the Middle Ages-is the oldest of its districts; it was restored following wartime destruction almost from the ground up.
