mobile equipment Charles Street Video offers for rent to members a select inventory of production gear that may be taken from the facility for professional shoots. Single pieces of equipment may be rented or multiple items can be bundled into a package. Our flagship package is the RED One camera kit. We also have available a full range of fluid head tripods, camera batteries, HD monitors, lights and grip gear. We also rent the Panasonic HVX200 and HPX170 ("P2") cameras, and a Sony EX-3, all of which are capable of high-definition image capture to media cards. For members wishing to shoot in standard definition, CSV has retained a Sony PD-150 digital camcorder. And for those interested in truly low-end image capture, there is a rare, Fisher-Price Pixelvision 2000 camera. Manfrotto fluid head, mini-DV tripods are available for use with the smaller cameras. All cameras (save for the Fisher-Price) have XLR audio inputs for professional microphone adaptation. Our inventory of location audio recording equipment includes an HHB mini-disc field recorder and excellent field microphones, including a Neumann CK 150, a Sennheiser ME62, a Sennheiser MKH60 and a pair of Micron TX716A wireless microphones. We rent lightweight boompoles, a boom roller, headphones and XLR cable. All mobile equipment is rented C.O.D. Rates stated below are daily. Discounts may apply. Weeks are charged as 4 days (1st day p/u after 2 p.m.; last day return before noon). Weekends are charged as 1 1/2 days. NOTE: For insurance/ security reasons, CSV rents mobile gear to members only. We regret that we are unable to make exceptions.
