For nearly half a century, Camp Gan Israel has provided the finest in recreational activity within an environment of traditional Judaism. Our unique physical and cultural programs have been instrumental in developing in the campers an appreciation for the outdoors as well as a greater awareness of a Jewish identity. Boys learn that living away from home for a few weeks can be a fun - filled adventure, as well as a wonderful learning experience. IN A UNIQUE SETTING: Camp Gan Israel is situated 110 miles north of Montreal. The camp grounds are nestled in midst of a nature wonderland, bordered on one side by Lac Desert and encompassed by forest on the other sides, creating an ideal site for hikes, nature trails, swimming and boating. Our spacious dining hall overlooks the waterfront, offering a panoramic view of the lake, set against a background of rolling green hills.
