Welcome to the Celestial Turtle, the official website for, Feng Shui by Design. The art of Feng Shui is approximately 4000 years old, first practiced by the Chinese Emperors Court to rule the country. Commoners were forbidden the knowledge, since it was believed the power obtained from the use of Feng Shui could allow one to overthrow the emperor. Feng Shui combines the beliefs of three philosophies, Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. It first came to North America in the 1940's when China became a communist country. Today, the practice of Feng Shui has become quite mainstream and in vogue for both individual and corporate use. The Art of Feng Shui is based on the placement of objects who's shape and color represent nature. This brings into balance the surrounding energies (Chi) into a mapped natural pattern (The Bagua). The results, can boost the positive energies that influence Luck, Finances, Love, Peace and Contentment. Does it Work? Have you ever walked into a room that just feels comfortable to be in? Yes it works! The results from my own consultations have ranged from a mild improvement to unbelievably spectacular results.
