The Centre for Affordable Water and Sanitation Technology (CAWST) is a registered Canadian charity that provides professional services - education, training and technical consulting - to organizations that serve the poor in developing countries. CAWST doesn't fund or implement projects. Instead, we provide the services that are the catalyst for independent, community-driven water and sanitation projects. Our vision is a world where people have the opportunity to succeed because their basic water and sanitation needs have been met. Our mission is to provide technical training, consulting, and to act as a centre of expertise in water and sanitation for the poor in developing countries.
