Scott has an extensive history working with Casino Nova Scotia. In 1995, Scott stood in line at the casino’s job fair with 5,000 other people. He was fortunate enough to get a job as a table games dealer and was part of opening team that year. Scott has since compiled 18 years of experience in the casino industry, progressing primarily in casino operations. Over the years, he held various positions in the table games department before being promoted to Table Games Manager in 2010. In the same year, Scott was promoted to his current position of Assistant General Manager. In his current role as Assistant General Manager he has been a driving force in helping to shape the gaming industry in Nova Scotia.

Prior to returning home to Nova Scotia to take on this new challenge, Helen was the Executive Director of Marketing for Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, based in Vancouver, BC. Over a more than 20-year career Helen has worked nationally and internationally in fashion, automotive, public relations, travel, tourism, gaming, and hospitality. Helen has experience in marketing (client-side and agency), business operations, event production, and as a fashion scout and stylist. This diverse career has been linked together by her focus on entertainment. Arts and culture have been a big part of Helen’s life since her youth spent in Pictou, Nova Scotia.
