Description
Cash Minerals is a Canadian-based company focused on uranium exploration in the Wernecke District of the Yukon Territory, Canada. This district includes numerous highly prospective uranium targets, which are currently being explored by the Company. Large-scale exploration was conducted in 2005 and 2006, which included extensive drilling at the Lumina and Igor properties. Initial positive results have encouraged the Company to continue drilling in 2007, with a primary objective of defining a uranium resource. The Company is also engaged in exploring and developing coal properties in southwestern Yukon Territory. The proposed Division Mountain project comprises an open-pit coal mine, with the product being sold to a potential mine-mouth power station located adjacent to the property. Cash Minerals is also pursuing the development of a coal mine in China that would provide feedstock to an adjacent coal-to-liquids (CTL) plant, which would utilize the Fischer-Tropsch process to convert coal into clean-burning fuel.
