Carl manages CaseBank’s day to day financial affairs and serves as Secretary to the Board of Directors. He is responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting, report compliance and financing. With over 30 years experience in accounting, he has practiced as a sole practitioner and as an audit partner at Thorne Riddell and then at Deloitte Haskins + Sells, national accounting firms. He also brings 10 years’ experience in human resources management as human resources partner in accounting offices with over 80 people.
Chris is responsible for overseeing all aspects of CaseBank’s professional services activities, with special emphasis on customer implementations and product support. With over 20 years of experience in delivering successful customer engagements that result in long-term business relationships, Chris oversees the execution and fulfillment of proposals, contracts and schedules for CaseBank’s technology-intensive projects. Prior to CaseBank, Lewis held senior positions at Atlantis Systems International.
Mark Kinney is a founding partner and Managing Director of Newport Partners with 20 years of experience in the investment industry. Mark is also the Chair of Newport’s Investment Committee and is responsible for managing the firm’s investment strategy and execution. He works directly with individuals and families to provide investment and wealth management services.
Lastly, Barkai notes that one service operation found another way to reduce NFF; some technicians purposely “zapped’’ a component to make absolutely sure it was broken when it was sent back to the manufacturer for testing. Call this method “cover you’re a** by creating a fault instead of finding a fault.” Gaming the system is one way to reduce NFF, but there are better ways.
