Description

CARI is a classic industry association. Its functions are to promote the interests of the industry nationally and internationally; to work with governments on policies affecting recycling; to inform the public and to promote cooperation between member firms to solve common problems. CARI works closely with other industry groups across Canada and complementary associations in other countries. It develops promotional and educational materials and position papers that illustrates the industry and its significance in order to develop a better understanding of the value of recycling to the Canadian society and economy and to ensure that legislation and regulations promote recycling.
