The Gravenhurst Banner was founded in 1886 and is South Muskoka's oldest operating newspaper. With a paid circulation of 3,500, it serves the communities of Bala, MacTier, Kilworthy and Kanshe Lake.

Clarington This Week merged with Statesman in 2007 and is one of Metroland's oldest, most respected weekly newspapers. It was founded in 1854 and serves the Clarington communities of Courtice, Bowmanville, Orono, Hampton and Newscastle. It is published as a tabloid every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

The primary function of this role is to capture photos and technical details of automotive dealerships inventory for online advertising; while providing the best in-class customer service to the client.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES This position requires strong writing skills and an ability to develop fresh story ideas. The ideal candidate is expected to produce clean and interesting stories with a focus on Town Council. The successful candidate will also have multi-media skills, experience in photography and be able to turn copy/photographs around in a timely fashion for online content. Evening work will be required.
