About
The Canadian Ski Patrol, founded in 1941, provides first aid and rescue services on ski hills across Canada. Over time, its scope expanded to include medical support for recreational, music, and sporting events, including participation in the Winter Olympics and World Cup Downhill races. Volunteers are trained in athletic injury treatment, teamwork, and immediate response before EMS arrival, serving as a crucial first response in various settings.
