The business was founded in 1970 by Sam Pudleiner under the original name Lease-A-Sign Ltd. As the company's success and reputation grew, so did it's needs, requiring a number of relocations to increasingly larger facilities. In 1997 Dan Pudleiner continued the business under a new name, Canadian Sign Systems Ltd., a carry over of his father's company, based on the same philosophy of quality and superior customer service. Canadian Sign Systems Ltd. is located 40 minutes northeast of Toronto in the town of Port Perry. Our 18,000 square foot facility allows us to efficiently manufacture a large volume of quality products. The building is divided into four main departments: the general shop, design department, screen department, and the roughing department. Our general shop is the largest of these departments. This is the area where fine painting, vinyl application, and general assembly take place. Included in this area is a 500 square foot spray booth and a laminating and mounting area. A 60 inch Seal laminating machine allows us to provide both hot and cold laminating and mounting services to our customers. Our design department boasts both a proficient design team and latest technology in printing and vinyl thermal transfer. Large format 6 colour digital printers allow us to produce high quality digital prints on a variety of materials including a water-fast matte vinyl suitable for both interior and exterior applications...
