Description
COMB, the Canadian Out-of-Home Measurement Bureau is a National non-profit organization independently operated by representatives comprised of Advertisers, Advertising Agencies and the Canadian Out-of-Home Advertising industry. The 18-member Board of Directors is made up of 7 Directors elected from the buyer and Advertiser group, Agencies and Advertisers, and 8 Directors from the seller group, the Out-of-Home Advertising Industry. The remaining three seats are non-voting in status, the Immediate Past Chair, Treasurer and General Manager. COMB is charged with the verification of traffic circulation for the benefit of the Industry and its users. Since its inception, in 1965, the bureau has continually improved the measurement and verification procedures for traffic counts and has now established the most accurate auditing techniques ever devised for the Canadian Industry. The process of refinement and improvement of the auditing techniques is never ending, and COMB will continue its effort to perfect the process.
