Irene Irwin has been both a Casa Directress and Montessori School Manager for over 12 years. She is an experienced educator, dedicated to guiding students towards success while inspiring an insatiable passion for learning. Her training in Early Childhood Education (1996) coupled with her Montessori Diploma (3-6+) (2001) make Irene an effective Montessori Master Teacher Trainer since 2006 at CMTEI.

In each training location, there is a team of 2 Master Teachers all the time. The range of experience in adult training for your Faculty is from 5 to 11 years. Dr. Jutras has more than 20 years of experience in training certified Montessori teachers and more than 10 years in training Master teachers.

Our mission is to provide children with the best possible teachers: teachers who respect the child and can support each child's needs. teacher candidates will explore the necessary tools to foster the child's growth and development while providing "hands-on" experiences that will encourage the child to develop a lifelong love and enthusiasm for discovery and learning.

Katherine Schweizer has been working with children of various ages since 1990. She began her career in education working with developmentally challenged children then children from Montessori classrooms from Casa through grade 8th. Katherine has obtained a degree from Ryerson University in Social Work (1987) and both Montessori Diplomas (3-6+) (1991) and Elementary (6-12) (2001). She has owned and operated a Montessori school for 10 years in Toronto. Katherine is at CMTEI since 2001 as Elementary Montessori Master Teacher Trainer.

For more than 20 years, Dr. Daniel Jutras has trained motivated people who wanted to become certified Montessori teachers; his philosophy was not to choke people financially but to give a service to those interested by the Montessori approach. As Dr. Daniel Jutras was trained in Italy by a follower of Maria Montessori, he feels responsible to provide an authentic expression of the heritage he received to a broad audience at an affordable fee.
