Peter Aitchison has worked in the modular construction industry for more than 40 years. For more than 25 years, he was Senior Manager of Engineering, Product Development, Design and Quality Control for one of the largest producers of homes and buildings in Canada, Triple M Housing Ltd. in Lethbridge, Alberta. He has extensive knowledge of the industry in Canada, the U.S. and other countries, and experience in a wide range of markets has provided him with the opportunity to innovate and share information with industry colleagues in a range of jurisdictions.
Reza Nasseri is the founder and CEO of Landmark Group of Builders. An astute businessman, Reza founded Landmark in 1977 with an entrepreneurial commitment to build better homes for families at the best price possible and has been building houses from Landmark’s Edmonton headquarters for over 36 years. Since then he has grown the organization to be one of Alberta’s largest home building companies often being at the forefront of the industry’s most significant innovations. Along the way Reza has become a leading proponent of reducing the environmental impact of the home building industry and encouraging the creation of energy efficient homes.
Dale Ball is President of Brookswood Homes, a manufactured housing retail company in Langley, British Columbia. In business since 1971, the company provides homes to consumers throughout the province with a singular purpose—"to make sure our customers get the home they want. There is a difference between a house and a home ," says Dale, "we want to make sure that what we sell to our customers is their home ." Dale was elected President of the Canadian Manufactured Housing Institute in 2013.
Kevin also operated his own building science consulting business for eleven years, working with industry and government clients in housing technology research, training and program development. He worked with builders as a registered R-2000 professional, designing and evaluating R-2000 and EnviroHome projects, and delivering training across the country. He also worked with various manufacturers to advance their housing products and technologies.
A Past President of the Canadian Manufactured Housing Institute and a member for more than 40 years, Peter is committed to technical excellence and continuous improvement in the quality and sustainability of Canadian housing. He has served as Chair of the Canadian Standards’ Association (CSA) Technical Committee on Factory Certification of Buildings since 2000, and as a Committee Member since 1980. He has been a member of the Standing Committee on Housing and Small Buildings and related National Building Code Task Groups since 2001. He has been an R-2000 builder, and a Built Green™ demonstration home builder. A member of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association’s (CHBA’s) National Technical Research Committee for more than 15 years, Peter was honoured in 2007 to receive CHBA’s national William M. McCance award, presented annually to an individual to recognize contributions to the Canadian housing industry in the technical area.
