Description
The Canadian Council of Food and Nutrition (CCFN) was created out of a union of the mandates of the National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) and the Canadian Food Information Council (CFIC) in 2004. Working together, NIN and CFIC Board members created a stronger and more viable organizational structure, positioned to provide leadership in advocacy on nutrition policy matters and communication on critical food and nutrition issues within Canada.
