The successful applicant will have extensive experience related to advanced wastewater treatment and an exceptional track record in conducting and managing R&D in the field. He/she will have the capability to provide a clear vision and outstanding leadership to build a broad range of partnerships and launch a major research initiative that would allow the university to move forward into new areas of collaborative, industrially relevant research.

Fully affiliated with the University of Toronto, Canada’s largest children’s rehabilitation hospital pioneers treatments, technologies, therapies and real-world programs that give children with disabilities the tools to participate fully in life.

The successful candidate will have at least ten years of progressive experience in the health care sector in addition to a PhD in health sciences research or equivalent. This is a key leadership role focused on the foundational elements of systemic health care improvement – accurate monitoring, measurement and public reporting. The successful candidate will have a strong grasp of statistical methods and a deep understanding of evidence-based research and analysis. Clinical experience would be an asset.

Applications are invited from emerging leaders in the area of Basin Dynamics, for a Tier II Canada Research Chair position at the University of Calgary . As part of the university’s strategic focus on Energy and Environment, the incumbent will join a world-class team of scholars in sedimentology, tectonics, petroleum geoscience, geochemistry and geophysics as well as research scientists at Natural Resources Canada (Geological Survey of Canada) who are involved in Arctic Basins research .
