Canada’s National Ballet School of Canada is pleased to have a long-standing relationship with Cleveland Clinic Canada. Their talented Sports Health team, lead by Dr. Tim Rindlisbacher, includes specialists in sports medicine, orthopedic surgery, physiotherapy, osteopathy, chiropractic medicine and massage therapy. Dr. Rindlisbacher and his team have extensive experience in the field of professional sports medicine.

Stage Two of NBS' audition process is for students who have successfully auditioned for the Professional Ballet Program or the Introductory Grade 5 Summer School. It consists of a four-week intensive Summer School at NBS' state-of-the-art facilities in Toronto each July. Approximately 150 auditioning students attend dance classes for the four-week period along with returning NBS students.

The Teacher Training Program at Canada's National Ballet School is approved as a Private Career College by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, and is governed by the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005. As such, our full-time teacher training programs are required to meet the standards of the act, including specific criteria for the programs that are offered, instructor qualifications and fee collection policies.

Cleveland Clinic Canada is a unique public-private hybrid: Most people aren’t aware that we offer OHIP funded services. Getting an appointment is as simple as having a physician referral and a valid OHIP card. Appointments with members of our sports health can usually be accommodated within a day or two. We also have a comprehensive team of Wellness specialists which includes Registered Dietitians, Exercise Physiologists and Psychologists – many of whom have advanced training and experience with professional sport as well.
