Founded in 2000, CanAm Bioresearch is located in Winnipeg, Canada. CanAm Bioresearch is an established pharmaceutical contract research organization specializing in pre-clinical discovery. We provide medicinal chemistry research, chemical libraries and custom chemical synthesis services.

CanAm Bioresearch has a high level of skills in analytical chemistry not only because of its connection with synthetic organic chemistry, but also because it has equipment and experience in bioanalysis such as plasma level analysis, blood level analysis on tissue distribution analysis. Pharmacokinetics profiles including rat PK, mouse PK and dose-exposure level relationships are also part of our services. Using our LC-MS and LC-UV, we have the ability to perform the majority of first-line ADME analyses.

Dr. Thomas received his Master in Pharmacy degree (1996) and PhD (2002) from the Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, Pilani, India. He received his post-doctoral training at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. He has over 15 years of experience in new drug discovery particularly in the areas of cardiovascular and metabolic disorders. Dr. Thomas held senior executive positions at Torrent Pharmaceuticals Research Centre, Ahmedabad India, where he was responsible for setting up and managing several pharmacological, pharmacokinetic and toxicological studies.
