MacIntosh Financial Group Ltd. was founded in 1985 by Cam MacIntosh (originally as Cameron MacIntosh & Co. Ltd.). Cam recognized a need for high quality, personalized financial planning services and he wanted to offer that to a select group of clients. He was joined in 1992 by his son Peter who is now the principal of the firm. Together they worked to develop the Company into a first-class financial planning firm. Cam retired from the firm in 2005, after many years of outstanding service to his clients. The Company is licensed as a Mutual Fund Dealer and as such, is a Member of the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada. They also hold a Life Insurance Brokerage License. This gives MacIntosh Financial Group the ability to provide to their clients the products of the various mutual fund companies and life insurance companies operating in Canada. In addition, the company has put in place agency arrangements with several trust companies, banks and credit unions, through which they have access to a wide variety of financial products for their clients. Because of this structure, MacIntosh Financial Group can offer a broad selection of investment opportunities, retirement planning strategies, insurance protection and estate planning strategies to suit all their clients' needs.
