We provide a variety of career exploration activities and Career Interest Inventories over the three years; this tends to be more accurate than a one time "snapshot" assessment. Career development is a collaborative process, and parents are invited to join the individual meetings with the student.

Calgary Academy is an accredited private school for exceptional learners. The school was founded in 1981 by a group of parents and educators who were alarmed that these students, who were intellectually capable and motivated to learn, were failing in community schools. At opening it employed 5 teachers, 4 teaching assistants, and had a student population of 40.

Founded in 1981, Calgary Academy has educated more than 4,000 students from across Alberta and is now recognized as a leader in specialized academic programming. Calgary Academy employs over 120 educational professionals and provides programs to over 625 students from Grades 2-12.
