Description
Calalta Figure Skating Club in Calgary, Alberta is a non profit skating club offering professional coaching of beginners to World Class skaters. The Home Club was formed 50 years ago in 1960 and became the training facility for the Olympic Skaters in 1988. The Club is based out of the Jimmie Condon Arena on Heritage Drive SW, and five other satellite clubs within Calgary fall under the Calalta umbrella. The home club offers extensive on-ice programs as well as an off-ice training facility. We are also pleased to be partnered with DLE Enterprises who offer a variety of on-site Pilates and Stretching classes. Today, Calalta is one of the largest skating clubs in Canada with highly trained professional coaches. The club is run by volunteers dedicated to the sport of figure skating.
