Description
For almost thirty years the Cabbagetown Community Arts Centre has provided disadvantaged children with quality music and art instruction. During that time, we have seen literally tens of thousands of children pass through our doors. The Centre began as a storefront operation offering recreational activities that has since expanded to include all the artistic modalities. Currently, some 300 children from St. Jamestown and Regent Park walk through our doors every week. Our vision is of a world where all children and young people have a sense of belonging and are loved and valued. A world where they can fulfill their potential, shape their destiny and experience the joy of life.
