Description
CDI College has been training Canadians for over 40 years. Since 1969, the college has built a network of schools across the country. With 16 campuses in five Canadian provinces, CDI College programs and courses are designed to meet the needs of the business, technology and healthcare industries in both the local and national job markets.
CDI College instructors bring years of professional experience into the classroom. Having spent time in the fields they teach, they are able to enhance curriculums to meet the needs of potential employers. In addition to field experience, our teachers are also able to provide you with the one-on-one attention you deserve because our classes are smaller than at other schools .
Health Care Assistants (HCAs) provide support for patients with physical or mental health issues who need permanent or temporary care in facilities such as retirement homes, hospices, group homes, and long-term care facilities. Health Care Assistants are an invaluable part of the Canadian healthcare system. CDI College's HCA program teaches students to respond to the emotional, psychological, and physical needs of the client, to assist the client in interacting with family members, and to support the client's personal care such as bathing and hygiene.
